For this first post – I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and explain a little bit about this site !
First things first, I am a burlesque dancer/showgirl, movie lover, and 24/7 goth <3. I wanted to create a site for all of my special interests to combine, where I can share my love of the goth community, music, and movies, while also having a space for my burley highlights. Basically, this blog is a clusterfuck of my personality. While that’s definitely not for everyone, I strive to make this site entertaining and informational ! That is – here is some things that you didn’t ask for or probably didn’t need to know but for the select few out there that share my extremely niche interests – I hope this entertains you !
Now let me break that down a little further… on my About page I listed a few categories:
🦇 The Crypt features horror movie reviews, television recommendations, and discussions of classic and contemporary fright films.
🕯️ The Manor focuses on gothic lifestyle topics, including home décor, fashion, beauty, and ways to bring a touch of dark elegance into everyday life.
📚 The Library contains book reviews, literary discussions, and recommendations for readers who enjoy gothic fiction, horror, dark fantasy, and the supernatural.
🦴 The Parlor is where you’ll find personal reflections, community features, interviews, and updates from behind the scenes.
🌙 The Midnight Theater – where the spotlight meets the shadows. Find performance highlights, event recaps, costumes, and backstage adventures.
🎼 The Catacombs – explores the underground sounds of gothic rock, post-punk, darkwave, industrial, doom metal, and other music lurking beneath the surface. I may sneak in some metal from my personal collection of deathxthrashxblack ❤
Each post title will be proceeded by one of the categories listed above (ex: this is a 🦴 Parlor post) and the content of that post will be themed to each category for that week. So if I’m doing a book review it will be highlighted under 📚 The Library or if I’m featuring a burlesque act you will see a 🌙 Midnight Theater post ! That way I can organize my disorganization just a bit more and keep things on track each week.

First and foremost this is a digital diary. While I can’t promise you I have the most interesting life, I created this page to document my journey, and the things I experience/that mean something to me along the way whether that be a movie relevant to my life at the moment or a story from my recent travels. Should you choose to join me on each week’s overshare is your own decision – enter at your own risk.

Well congratulations ! You’ve made it through your first overshare on this site – plenty more where that came from.
I consider myself to be the “Frankenstein of Burlesque” so that is where my hyperfixation with the Bride and Living Dead Girl comes from. I think that will make sense to those who have seen me perform or who know what it takes for me to put an act together !
